FactFile only holds claims someone has checked against a source, so it has gaps. Telling us which gap you hit is the fastest way to get it filled — and if something has already given you an answer you do not trust, say what it was.

Ask it as a question, the way you would type it into a search box. One question at a time — separate ones are easier to answer and easier to count.

Have you already been told an answer?

This is the most useful thing you can add. An answer an assistant gave you confidently is a specific claim that can be checked against a source — and if it turns out to be wrong, that is exactly the sort of gap worth filling.

Context that would narrow it down — which country, which model, which year.

If you know roughly where it is stated, this saves the search.

Nothing you write here is published. Please leave out anything personal — order numbers, addresses, account details — and anything that does look personal is stripped before it is stored.

Found something already published that looks wrong? Say so on the fact itself — every page has a link at the foot of it — so the correction lands next to the claim it is about. More about how this works.
